Monday 3/20 Anti-Trump Rally Virtual Event

Date: Monday, March 20, 2017
Time: 4:45 PM
Location: Virtual, anywhere and everywhere
Event RSVP: Stay Up To Date On Facebook

You can participate in this event sponsored by Indivisible Kentucky in one of three ways depending on your comfort level:

At Home

Take a selfie wearing tape over your mouth in a crisscross pattern. Post the photo on your personal Facebook page, your Twitter feed, or your Instagram account along with a message about how YOU have been silenced by this Republican administration. Use the #Silenced hashtag. (Take this action right now! This sets us up to most effectively communicate our message during the in-person actions!)

Out & About in the World

On Monday, March 20, during the time that Trump is in Louisville, we ask that you stop whatever you are doing, wherever you are (in Louisville? In Kentucky? In the U.S.? Internationally?), and place tape over your mouth in a crisscross pattern and stand still in silent protest. We will do this as one at 45 minutes after the hour beginning at 4:45 p.m., and again at 5:45, 6:45, 7:45, and 8:45, until Trump leaves Louisville.

At the Rally

If you are attending the rally on March 20, join others as we place tape over our mouths and stand in silent protest. We suggest that you pre-cut tape strips and put them onto wax paper to carry in your pocket. (We believe this request is necessary to keep a super low profile up until the very moment that we pull our tape out, so that we can complete the action.)
